If a lead, contact, or account is incorrectly mapped or needs to be updated, follow the steps below to remove the match and then manually select the right one.
Here's a tip
To manually reselect the right lead/contact:

Sign in to your CRM and find the lead or contact profile page.

Within the Sales Navigator embedded profile (widget), click Not the right person. The related company is automatically unmatched.
If you cannot see the Not the right person option, you may need to increase the size of the widget. To do so:
- View details of a specific lead or contact and click Setup at the top right.
- Click Edit Page.
- Click anywhere on the widget and enter 460 in the Component Height field on the right rail.
- Click Save displayed on the top right of the screen.
You should see the Not the right person option now.

When you then find the right lead/contact, click Match.

A banner message about the match will appear. -
If you cannot locate the correct lead/contact, you might have to modify your search criteria. To do so:
- Click Back displayed on the top left.
- Modify information, ensuring all information is entered exactly as it appears on the lead's LinkedIn profile. You can also remove their Current title and/or Current or Past Company information to locate the lead/contact.
- Click Search.

After you match the lead/contact, return to the profile and confirm the CRM badge on the profile. View the tooltip next to it (with the Log to CRM option turned on).

You’ll see a tooltip next to the badge with a description of how the match was generated, in one of the following ways:
- Manual: Matched by someone on your team
- Auto: Match generated automatically by LinkedIn
- Auto-CRM: Match generated automatically from CRM sync

More icon. -
Select Not the right account, and the account is automatically unmatched.

You can now manually conduct a search and select the account you’re looking for.

When you’ve found the right account, click Match to match the company.

Next to the CRM badge on the account page, you’ll see a tooltip with a description of how the match was generated, in one of the following ways:
- Manual: Matched by someone on your team
- Auto: Match generated automatically by LinkedIn
- Auto-CRM: Match generated automatically from CRM sync
