Transfer data from corporate to individual account

If you have a Sales Navigator account and you've purchased an individual Sales Navigator account, you can move or transfer data from your corporate account to your individual account.

The following table describes data that can and can’t be transferred to your new Sales Navigator dashboard:

Important to know

If you plan to keep your original/individual license, please note that message history will no longer appear in your original license after the transfer is complete.

To complete the data transfer from a company account to an individual account:

  1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

  2. Click the icon and choose Chat with Support.

  3. When asked what you need help with, select Something else.

    You will be prompted to answer a few more questions such that the support agent can have adequate information to help you.

  4. When prompted, enter information that you would like to transfer data from the corporate account to an individual account. In your request, please add the following details:

    I purchased an individual Sales Navigator license and I’d like to transfer the data saved on my corporate Sales Navigator license to my individual license. The authorized company representative signing the form is YYY.

  5. Customer Support will send you a Transfer Request Form via DocuSign which must be signed by an authorized company representative, who is also an admin on your account. The form must also be countersigned by each requester.

    Please ensure that you add their email address in your support request, so the form can be routed to the correct individuals.

  6. After the completed form is received, LinkedIn Support processes the data transfer.

    This process can take up to 48 hours to complete.

  7. An email is sent to you confirming that the data transfer is complete.
