If you're having trouble messaging or connecting with someone, or if you're not receiving email notifications, your email address may not be verified on LinkedIn.
When you create an account, or when you add a new email address, we send a confirmation email titled Confirm your email address to that email account. Once you click the link in the email, your email address is verified.
If you haven't received the confirmation email, make sure you can receive messages from LinkedIn.
You can also verify your email address through LinkedIn.com:

Sign in to your LinkedIn account.

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

Under the Sign in & security section, click Change next to Email addresses.

You'll then see the email addresses associated with your account. If your email address isn't confirmed, click Send verification.
