Manage how data is collected and used for advertising with your Ads and Cookie settings. You can also control the cookies that LinkedIn and others use to collect and use data related to you, using the cookie settings.
The Cookie Settings control the setting and reading of cookies on your browsers for purposes such as advertising, analytics, and research. The Ads Settings control how data is processed for similar purposes. In other words, your Ads Settings do not directly impact your Cookie Settings, and vice versa.
For example, if you enable advertising cookies through your cookie settings but reject other cookie categories, data related to advertising cookies will continue to be collected, and processed subject to the advertising preferences enabled using the ads settings.
Similarly, if you disable all three cookie categories from your cookie settings, all data collection via these cookies would stop. The ads settings will continue to control how existing data about you is processed for advertising and analytics purposes.
Disallowing a cookie would stop further collection of data using the cookie. Any existing data already collected would continue to be processed. If you wish to control specific information that LinkedIn uses to show you ads, you can manage this through the Ads Settings. Learn more about LinkedIn Advertising Settings.
Note:
-
The cookie setting is only available to users accessing LinkedIn from certain regions and the Designated Countries. All LinkedIn members have access to ads settings.
-
The advertising we display on LinkedIn is personalized using data stored on our servers (e.g. your profile data), not cookies. Opting out from advertising cookies does not prevent the display of personalized advertising on LinkedIn, but you can control our use of data to personalize ads through the Ads Settings.

We do not use advertising cookies on the iOS app.
