US Sales Tax Overview

In accordance with sales tax regulations, LinkedIn is required to collect state and local sales tax for products and services purchased by our members when applicable. The taxability of any Linkedin offering is subject to change to reflect changes in tax statutes, regulations and case law.
State or local tax will be applied to your Premium account balance for members with a payment method billing address in:

  • Florida
  • Hawaii
  • Illinois (Chicago only)
  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota

  • North Carolina
  • Ohio
  • Pennsylvania

  • South Carolina
  • South Dakota

Note: If you have a contract with LinkedIn, tax is billed according to the "Ship to" address on your invoice for Talent Solutions and Sales Navigator customers. Tax is billed to the "Bill to" address on LinkedIn Marketing Solutions contracts (Advertising).
