Sales tax exemption - Overview

Members based in the US who have purchased a product online and have tax exempt status can contact LinkedIn customer support. You'll need to provide a copy of your tax exemption certificate.

If you purchased products and services through a LinkedIn sales representative and have corporate billing, please contact our Billing Support team with:
  • A copy of your tax exemption certificate. We'll use this tax exemption certificate to provide a credit for the tax charged on your invoice.
  • A letter on the business letterhead to confirm that:

    • you are using this account on behalf of the business
    • the business will extend their exemption to cover your account
    • the business is paying for the services
    • it is signed by an authorized representative

    The purpose of this letter is to bridge the gap between a sale to an individual and the exemption of the business.
