Upon completion of a Skill Assessment, LinkedIn members can feature a badge on their profiles that is visible to their network and recruiters.
- Skill Evaluations: Available for LinkedIn Learning subscribers, Skill Evaluations help learners better understand their proficiency levels so they can more easily discover LinkedIn Learning content that fits their level of understanding. Yes. With LinkedIn Learning’s Professional Certificate feature, learners can discover, master, and showcase in-demand skills with a Professional Certificate from trusted certificate partners. After completing a Professional Certificate course and passing the assessment, learners can add their new credential to their LinkedIn profile.
While obtaining a Professional Certificate alone does not guarantee you will find a job related to your Certificate training, LinkedIn Learning Professional Certificate courses and assessments are developed in partnership leading companies in their fields in conjunction with LinkedIn's insights into a learner's specific needs and goals.
Yes. At the completion of a Professional Certificate course, learners can take assessments to prove their learning proficiency on the LinkedIn Learning platform. The percentage of correct answers required to obtain a certificate varies according to provider and individual certificate, but can be found by clicking Certificates from any Professional Certificate course.
Professional Certificate content and assessments are developed in partnership with trusted providers that are leaders in their field of expertise. Third parties issue all Professional Certificates, often in partnership with LinkedIn Learning. LinkedIn Learning offers multiple question formats in the assessments.
Professional Certificate assessments feature multiple anti-cheating measures including:
- Limited attempts
- Timed exams
- Question randomization
Yes. LinkedIn Learning encourages learners to retake a Professional Certificate exam if they don’t pass it on the first attempt. There is a different number of available attempts to pass the exam depending on the certificate and provider, but most certificates allow three attempts. Please keep in mind that the exam must be passed in order to obtain a certificate.
In order to receive a Professional Certificate, learners must complete a course and an exam on LinkedIn Learning. The length of the course and exam varies depending on the topic and third-party provider's requirements. Proctored by a third party, assessments for certification exams are offered off the LinkedIn Learning platform and depend on the individual certification you want to obtain.
Certification exam costs vary by certification and provider. While costs of certification preparation courses are included with a LinkedIn Learning subscription, the costs of off-platform certification exams are not included in your LinkedIn Learning subscription.
