Having an identity verification on your profile means that you had a valid India government-issued ID and it’s verified using a LinkedIn verification partner.
Please note that identity verification is currently not available in India. Previous verifications remain unaffected.
To remove identity verification in India on Desktop, iOS, or Android
Click here to go to your settings, or click on Me at the top right of your computer screen or your profile picture on a mobile device.
Click on Settings & Privacy.
Under Account preferences, click on Verifications.
Confirm your deletion. Please note we can’t restore the verification once it’s deleted.
