Job posters who repost a free job within 7 days will be required to promote it. Job posts with the same title and company as a previous job post are ineligible to be posted within 7 days for free. These limits are designed to prevent abuse and increase transparency while ensuring that job seekers have access to the best possible opportunities.

Reposting the same job within 7 days has been used to game the system, which erodes trust and negatively impacts other free and paid jobs. To limit abuse and create a trustworthy marketplace, we are requiring members to pay to repost jobs within a 7-day time period.
We value member safety as our top concern. To ensure every job posted on LinkedIn is a valid and high-quality job, we are preventing the same job from being closed and reposted within a 7-day time period. This means that any job posted from the same company with the same job title within 7 days will be required to be promoted.
You can post multiple jobs with the same role. To post these roles for free you’ll need to wait 7 days to post the second job and you’ll still be subject to free job limits. If you’d like to promote multiple jobs with the same title, you can promote those jobs.
Yes. You are still subject to free job post limits if you choose to post a job that is not reposting another job. Read more about free job limits here.
