CSV file upload requirements in Talent Hub

Last updated: 3 months ago

LinkedIn Talent Hub admins can edit user attributes and manage their licenses, permissions, and roles in bulk via the CSV upload feature in the LinkedIn Admin Center under User & license management. The CSV files must include specific column headers and acceptable values to upload successfully.

The column headers include user information and license and permission types. The value entered under the user information columns updates the information on user enterprise profiles (this doesn’t affect their personal LinkedIn profile).

The value entered under the license and permissions columns will assign or edit the user’s license and permissions.

  • Assigning an Active value under a license or permissions column means new users will receive an email to activate their license. For existing users, it means their new license and permissions are detected and changed in Talent Hub.
  • Assigning an Inactive value under a license or permission column means means new users means aren’t assigned the specific license or permission. For existing users, it means their license and permissions are removed in Talent Hub.
