Project Overview tab in Recruiter and Recruiter Lite

The Project Overview tab in LinkedIn Recruiter and Recruiter Lite provides high-level project details and insights related to your project, all in one place. The details on the Project Overview tab update with new activity when you refresh the page, except where noted in each section below. Learn more about the sections you can see on the Project Overview tab below.

Overview 

This section displays information about your project. You may see some of the following insights and metrics in this section:

Suggested action cards allow you to take quick action on your project. You may see the following suggested action cards:

  • Renew expiring job post
  • Start a search
  • Review unread messages
  • Review recommended matches
  • Review new applicants
  • Review new saved search results
  • Continue search
  • Post a job

You may also see these additional details about your project:

  • Search results shows the number of new search results for the last search you visited in the Search section of the Talent pool tab.
  • InMails sent shows the number of InMails sent over the lifetime of the project. Note: This data is refreshed every 48 hours.
  • Applicants shows a count of all saved and unreviewed applicants in the Applicants section of the Talent pool tab. This doesn’t include rejected applicants.
  • Active candidates shows the total candidates you currently have saved to active pipeline stages. This doesn’t include archived or rejected candidates.

Recent activity

This section displays Activity and Recent collaborator activity over a period of time. Click the All activity dropdown to select My activity only to see your activity on the project. Click the Last 4 weeks dropdown to select a date range. Note: A week is defined as Sunday through Saturday on the calendar and will not include data from partial weeks. Click View all activity to see all project activity slide in from the right side of the page, then click Show all activity and select from the following options in the dropdown to filter all project activity:

  • Profile saves
  • Stage changes
  • Messages
  • Profiles archived/rejected

Note: This data is refreshed every 48 hours.

Here are the definitions of each metric in the Recent activity section:

  • Profiles viewed shows the number of profiles viewed in your project.
  • Profiles saved shows the number of profiles saved to your project.
  • InMails sent shows the number of initial messages sent (using InMail and to 1st-degree connections and open profiles). This metric is an aggregated total from InMail messages sent on desktop and mobile.
  • Stage changed shows the number of candidates whose stage changed in your project.

About this project

This section displays project details, permissions, project members, customized talent insights, skills, workplace type, and more.

Talent pool sourcing 

This section displays open jobs in your project and the date they were posted.

InMail trends

This section displays the number of InMails sent, avg. open rate, avg. response rate, accepted InMails, declined InMails, and no response InMails. Click the All collaborators dropdown to select My activity only. Click the Last 4 weeks dropdown to select a date range. Note: This data is refreshed every 48 hours. A week is defined as Sunday through Saturday on the calendar and will not include data from partial weeks.

Here are the definitions of each metric in the InMail trends section:

  • InMails sent shows the number of initial messages sent (using InMail and to 1st-degree connections and open profiles). This metric is an aggregated total from InMail messages sent on desktop and mobile.
  • Average open rate is the percentage of InMails that were opened by the recipient.
  • Average response rate is the percentage of InMails that were sent during the selected time frame and have been accepted or declined within 30 days. This metric is an aggregated total from InMail response rates on desktop and mobile.
  • Accepted InMails shows the number of InMail messages sent during the selected time frame and accepted within 30 days of sending the InMail message, including accepting through an email notification. This metric is an aggregated total from InMail messages accepted on desktop and mobile.
  • Declined InMails shows the number of InMail messages sent during the selected time frame and declined within 30 days. This metric is an aggregated total from InMail messages declined on desktop and mobile.
  • No response InMails shows the number of InMail messages sent during the selected time frame that haven’t been accepted or declined within 30 days. This metric is an aggregated total from InMail messages with no response on desktop and mobile.

Pipeline

This section displays hiring pipeline stages activity and demographics of saved candidates (gender). These metrics are based on our binary gender data for LinkedIn members saved to this pipeline. Gender insights will only display if a project has 25+ candidates in the pipeline and 67%+ of those candidates have inferred gender data available. Click the All stages dropdown to select another stage. You can filter the data in the pipeline section by job title, years of experience, location, company, and skills. Note: This data is refreshed every 48 hours.
