Data exports for LinkedIn Page owners

Last updated: 5 months ago

LinkedIn allows Page owners, including Page admins and their authorized third-party developers, to export data related to their organizations’ LinkedIn Pages using the Pages Data Portability API. This includes data that the organizations provide or generate through LinkedIn Pages and may also include information about the members who interact with a Page and a Page’s content. If your Page owners exporting your data setting is turned on and you interact with an organization’s Page (example: following or mentioning the Page or commenting or reacting to the Page’s post), the organization may be able to export some of your profile information along with those interactions.

Keep in mind:

  • Even if the Page owners exporting your data setting is turned off, Page owners may still be able to access your profile information for their management of Pages using third-party developer tools, which is controlled by the Off-LinkedIn visibility setting.
  • Page owners can continue to view your profile information on LinkedIn.
  • The Page owners exporting your data setting doesn’t apply to data that isn’t linked to you individually, such as aggregated data.
  • It might take up to 48 hours for the Page owners exporting your data setting to update.
