When you create an Accelerate campaign, we automatically generate an audience optimized towards your objective by using your product name and description, audience signals you select, and historical data from your account’s previous campaigns. We combine these inputs to optimize for targeting professionals that are most likely to convert for your business.

Audience signals
Audience signals can help Accelerate find similar members to meet your campaign objective. Your audience will change over time as your campaign is optimized for the best results.
You can add audience signals to:
- Include data sources, such as contact lists, conversions, or Lead Gen Forms.
- Include or exclude locations.
- Select a different language.
- Exclude contact, company, or third-party lists.
- Exclude employees of your organization. This option is selected by default.
Data sources
Adding a data source to your audience can help us optimize your campaign’s audience faster based on the characteristics and intents of the people in your data source. When adding a data source, you can select from one of the following options:
- Lead Gen Forms
- Contact lists (status must show Ready on your Audiences page)
- Online conversions (using LinkedIn Insight Tag)
The data source you choose should align to the specific behavior you’d like to replicate.
Your data source must have 300 or more members. You can select multiple sources within a data source type to reach 300 members. For example, if you choose Lead Gen Forms, you can select multiple Lead Gen Forms to reach 300 members.
