Recruiter Lite overview

Last updated: 2 weeks ago

Recruiter Lite is LinkedIn’s recruiting tool best suited for teams at small-to-medium businesses with low-volume hiring needs. You can use Recruiter Lite to set up a team, starting with one included license for a recruiter or administrator, then adding additional licenses for up to four more team members at extra cost.

Recruiter Lite can be purchased online as a monthly or yearly subscription. You may be eligible for a free 30-day trial. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

Important to know

Recruiter Lite is not currently available to members in China.

Important to know

Some new Recruiter Lite features, such as collaboration tools and the new multi-seat options, are rolling out and may not be available for some customers at this time.

With Recruiter Lite, you can:

  • Search the LinkedIn network, up to your 3rd-degree connections, with more than 20 filters like Skills and Years of Experience, and refine your search with smart suggestions.
  • Contact candidates directly with 30 InMail messages per month, with the option to purchase up to 70.
  • Discover great, new candidates with daily recommendations and search alerts based on your open roles.
  • Build a team of up to five recruiters to collaborate on hiring projects based on the needs of your team. You start with one included license and add additional licenses at extra cost.
  • Assign and reassign licenses to team members as needed.
  • The number of free job postings you can have at once is equal to the number of seats purchased. Free job postings are subject to terms and conditions, and restrictions may apply.
  • Free job posting eligibility may vary; however, you are welcome to promote the job. Recruiter Lite subscribers can post as many promoted jobs as they wish.
  • Keep your messages, searches, and job postings organized and separate from your personal LinkedIn.com account.

Important to know

Generic and staffing companies cannot post a free job with a Recruiter Lite account. If you are posting jobs on behalf of generic companies or staffing and recruiting firms identified as "generic", you may be required to promote your job post. This measure ensures that job posts on LinkedIn are made by authentic companies, and helps us maintain a safe platform. See the Promote job posts from staffing agencies FAQ for more information.
