Autofill for work emails on LinkedIn

With your consent, work emails are collected and used for autofill when using forms on LinkedIn. Enabling autofill allows you to interact with forms on LinkedIn faster. For example, we’ll automatically populate your email address when you’re seeking information from an organization or registering for an event.

Once you’ve verified your work email address LinkedIn will autofill forms in the following order when a work email field is present:

  1. Your verified work email

  2. A consented work email from a Lead Gen Form

  3. Your primary and secondary emails from your LinkedIn profile

You can remove or change your email for autofill at any time by going to the Email addresses section of the Sign in and security page in your LinkedIn account settings. 

You can enable or disable autofill of work email for future Lead Gen forms. To do so, go to the Verification section of the Account preferences page in your LinkedIn account settings.
