You will see this feature on some posts in Feed and job postings.

AI-powered takeaways on LinkedIn uses generative AI to provide members with personalized insights and suggestions to help you find the right information and connect to additional resources on LinkedIn.

On your LinkedIn Feed, this feature helps you by providing personalized takeaways, content summaries, and suggestions related to the post you’re viewing.

Note: Not all posts on your Feed will have AI-powered takeaways.

Important to know

We strongly recommend that you verify the AI-generated responses for authenticity as they may contain inaccuracies. It’s important that you assess the answers for accuracy and appropriateness before you rely on them.

To access AI-powered takeaways on posts in feed:

  1. Click on the Sparkle icon next to a prompt below the post.

  2. Takeaways or content summaries from the post will be generated by AI in a pop-up window.

  3. From the Sparkle pop-up window, you can also:  

    • Click one of the questions related to the post to know more about that topic 
    • Type any question in the Ask me anything textbox

  4. Based on your question, you might be able to: 

    • View profiles of members related to your question 
    • See posts related to your question   
    • Clicking on a post or profile will redirect you to that respective page

  5. Click on the  Dropdown icon on the upper right of the window to close the AI-powered takeaways.
