The Location tab of the LinkedIn Talent Insights Talent Pool Report provides insights into how the target talent is spread across the different locations you’ve selected while creating the report. You can get higher-level data in the map provided, and a detailed breakdown of the information in the tables below.
You can access the Location tab on the online version of the Talent Pool Report. To access the report online, sign into LinkedIn Talent Insights and create a new Talent Pool Report or select an existing report from the Continue where you left off section in the homepage.
This tab includes the following sections:
What are the top locations for this talent? – This section displays the following information for each of the locations you’ve selected in the report:

Number of professionals
-
Number of job posts
-
The hiring demand
-
Gender distribution
-
Top employers
Where has the selected region gained or lost talent? – This section displays the following information for each of the locations you’ve selected in the report:

Talent lost
-
Talent gained
-
Ratio of talent lost to talent gained
-
Difference between talent gained and talent lost
You can view data for each country, province, or break it down further to specific market areas.

To filter data:
Click the View by: dropdown in the top right corner of the page and select from the following options:

City
-
Market Area
-
Country/Territory
You can include and exclude locations from the report.
To include and exclude locations:
Click the location name under the Location column of the report, and select Include or Exclude from the dropdown to include or exclude a location from the tab.
You can view individual profiles working in each location, and specific jobs available in companies in that location.
To view individual profiles:

Click the number under the Professionals column for any location.

In the window that opens on the right, click See profile next to the member’s profile name to view their LinkedIn profile.
- Note: You can use the filters on the left rail to filter profiles by Companies, Locations, or Function.
To view individual jobs:

Click the number under the Jobs column for any location.

In the window that opens on the right, click See job next to the job title of the job you want to view.
- Note: You can use the filters on the left rail to filter jobs by Companies, Locations, or Function.
You can sort gender insights for the selected location(s).
To sort gender insights:
Click the Gender dropdown list and select from the following options:

Female: High to Low – Lists the percentage of female employees within a particular location from highest to lowest.

Male: High to Low – Lists the percentage of male employees within a particular location from highest to lowest.
-
Gender Gap: Least to most – Lists locations in the increasing order of the gender gap percentage.
-
Gender: Show all genders – Displays the percentage of both male and female employees for each location.
