InMail usage limits allow LinkedIn Recruiter admins to restrict the number of InMail credits that can be used per month. From the Product settings page in Recruiter, an admin can choose to apply the limit to all users or to specific users on your contract. By default, no usage limit is set for users. If an admin chooses to limit specific users, the admin must also apply the limit from LinkedIn Admin Center. Recruiters on your contract can track InMail usage limits on the Usage overview page in Product settings.

To set InMail usage limits:

Sign in to Recruiter.

Click your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Go to LinkedIn Admin Center from the dropdown.

Click Preferences on the left pane.

On the Preferences page, click Edit to the right of InMail usage limit.

Choose Limit all seats to limit all users.
- Select Limit specific seats to limit individual users. Follow the steps outlined below to apply the limit from LinkedIn Admin Center.
- Select No seats limited (default) to remove the limit.

Enter the maximum number of InMail messages users can send per month.

Click Save.
If you’ve followed the steps above to limit specific seats (users), you can assign the limit to a single user or to multiple users from LinkedIn Admin Center.
To set InMail usage limits for one or more users:

Sign in to Recruiter.

Click your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Go to LinkedIn Admin Center from the dropdown.

On the Users tab, find the user(s) you want to limit. You can filter by License type
, License status , and Project status . You can also search by name, email, title, or project using the search box above the user list. -
Click the checkbox next to the user(s).

Click Edit attributes in the actions menu at the bottom of the page.

Click Limit this user under InMail usage limit.

Enter the maximum number of InMail messages the user(s) can send per month.

Click Save.
