Recruiter System Connect (RSC) integrates LinkedIn Recruiter with your Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to simplify your hiring process. The integration helps you understand the end-to-end candidate hiring process and solves the challenge of having to toggle between different systems. It enables you to get up-to-date candidate information, boost collaboration while improving the candidate experience, and access more applicant data in Recruiter. For customers with one or more Recruiter Corporate (including SMB) or Recruiter Professional Service (RPS) seats, RSC is included as part of your Recruiter license at no additional cost. However, as some ATSs may charge a separate fee, please confirm with your ATS. RSC is not available for Recruiter Lite customers.

Here's a tip
RSC features and access levels
By default, Recruiter enables RSC features on a contract-by-contract basis for individual contracts (i.e. dashboards) that sit under your company’s account. This policy aims to ensure that the data shared within each contract is accessible only to users on that contract.
Recruiter highlights features available to that contract as they are enabled or disabled. If you want to enable RSC features for all contracts in your company, go to Product settings > Advanced > ATS and CRM Integrations and, next to the integration, click Edit, then select the “Activate In-ATS Indicator and In-ATS Profile Widget for all contracts in your company” checkbox. Admins can select or clear the “all contracts at your company” checkbox without contacting support for assistance. To disable certain contract access, please contact LinkedIn Support.
If you enable RSC for all contracts in your company, you are activating limited RSC features for all contracts/dashboards at your company. Activating RSC for all contracts at your company does not activate the InMail stub profile, InMail, or Notes history features (see table below for more details). If you wish to turn on these features for a given contract, go to Product settings for that contract or activate from the Onboarding Widget.
-
Default access – If you activate RSC for a given contract/dashboard, then Recruiter enables all features of RSC, including InMail and Notes visibility in the ATS only for that contract. You don’t need to enable full company access before turning on these contract-specific features.
-
Full company access (e.g., when you toggle “Activate In-ATS Indicator and In-ATS Profile Widget for all contracts in your company”) – Activates the In-ATS Indicator, In-ATS Profile Widget, and 1-Click Export across all contracts. Admins can choose to toggle off this access and instead enable RSC features on a contract-by-contract basis.

Enable RSC
ATS instructions for active partners are available in Integration features supported by an ATS. If you’re not an ATS partner, fill out and submit the LinkedIn Request Integrations form to get updates on connecting your ATS with Recruiter.
Note: Once implemented, you can’t opt out of specific features within RSC. It’s a standard integration for all customers with a minimum set of requirements. However, some data fields that are sent over via the integration are optional, such as the ATS data fields that populate in the In-ATS Indicator. Please reach out to your ATS representative if you have questions on whether certain data fields are optional for you.
Disable RSC
Once you've enabled RSC, you’re the Data Controller of your Personal Data as defined in the LinkedIn Subscription Agreement (LSA) (or your governing LSA with LinkedIn). If there is ever a time when you’d like to disable the Recruiter System Connect integration or remove this data, you can request to disable or explicitly delete your ATS data at any time by contacting ltsatsintegrations@linkedin.com.
If you are using RSC to post jobs, make sure to close the active jobs in your ATS before your request to disable RSC. After RSC is disabled, you can no longer use RSC to close your jobs. After disabling RSC, you'll need to re-post your jobs using a LinkedIn Job Posting product to reopen them. Additionally, reach out to your ATS to notify them the integration has been disabled so that they stop calling our APIs.
