If you get an error message while trying to send an InMail from within a project, you can try to eliminate any unrecognizable characters that may have accidently crept into your InMail and then try sending the InMail again.
Fill in all InMail fields: Subject, Salutation, and Message.
To eliminate unrecognizable characters in your InMail:
-
Copy the text into Notepad, a simple text editor for Microsoft Windows. This will remove any HTML formatting and insert symbols and characters, which makes it more identifiable and easier to fix.
-
Copy the text from Notepad into a Word document, then remove the symbols and characters.
-
Copy the text back into a new InMail template and resend the message.
Your InMail message should successfully be sent.
