Resolve an InMail error within a project

Last updated: 4 months ago

If you get an error message while trying to send an InMail from within a project, you can try to eliminate any unrecognizable characters that may have accidently crept into your InMail and then try sending the InMail again.

Fill in all InMail fields: Subject, Salutation, and Message.

To eliminate unrecognizable characters in your InMail:

  1. Copy the text into Notepad, a simple text editor for Microsoft Windows. This will remove any HTML formatting and insert symbols and characters, which makes it more identifiable and easier to fix.
  2. Copy the text from Notepad into a Word document, then remove the symbols and characters.
  3. Copy the text back into a new InMail template and resend the message.

Your InMail message should successfully be sent.
