Coupon codes may be used to secure advertising credits, which are used to buy LinkedIn advertising products and features, such as single image ads, conversation ads, and boosting a post.
Coupon codes for LinkedIn advertising are usually offered through emails that are sent out by LinkedIn. There are a few different kinds of coupon codes. Some are intended for brand new advertisers and others are intended for existing advertisers. The coupon code type will be indicated on the email offer you receive. -
If your LinkedIn Ads account has been put on hold, the status will show On hold and a red banner will appear at the top of Campaign Manager when you are logged into the ad account. Ads won’t run while an ad account is on hold but will resume once the hold is removed.
Your account can be placed on hold for billing-related reasons, if an ad account user’s LinkedIn account has been identified as potentially spam or fake, or if an Enterprise ad account has reached its end date or budget. You can check the ad account status for more information about why your account is on hold.

When you create a Classic campaign, you’ll choose from settings to determine who your ad is displayed to, where your ad is displayed, how much your campaign spends, and when your campaign runs. Optionally, you can also add tracking such as conversion tracking or URL tracking parameters.
The first step when you select your campaign settings is to choose a marketing objective. An objective is the goal you’d like to achieve with your campaign. Campaigns are optimized for delivery to people most likely to take the action you want based on the objective you select. Each objective offers ad formats and bidding strategies that align with the goals of that objective.
