Enable Microsoft Office to schedule interviews in Talent Hub - admin setup

Last updated: 1 year ago

As a product settings admin, you can manage the email and calendar services from the Product Settings on your LinkedIn Talent Hub contract.

Note: To enable interview scheduling within Talent Hub, you need to integrate your email and calendar services and setup a service account. Learn more about integrating your email and creating a service account in the LinkedIn Talent Hub - Microsoft Office Integration Guide.

In Talent Hub, you can integrate Microsoft Exchange Online (Office 365). As of March 1, 2023, Microsoft integrations will only work with cloud deployments. Microsoft will no longer allow Hybrid Deployments to access calendar and mailbox APIs.

To set your contract’s default email and calendar platform:

  1. Move your cursor over your profile picture in the top right corner of the Talent Hub homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.

  2. Click Email & calendar on the left rail under Company Settings.

  3. Click Edit next to Company email and calendar platform.
  4. Select Microsoft Office 365.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Authorize next to Service account authorization and then enter the credentials of the service account.

You need to select a provider under Company Settings for Company email and calendar platform (Microsoft Office 365, Google GSuite, or Don't Integrate) before you can allow users to turn availability sharing on.

Note: You don't have to integrate your company and email calendar if you only want to allow users on your contract to share their availability, but, you must select an option under Company email and calendar platform before you can turn on calendar sharing availability.

To allow users to share their calendar availability with candidates with a link when sending messages or to allow individual users to turn on the One Inbox integration:

  1. Move your cursor over your profile picture in the top right corner of the Talent Hub homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.

  2. Click Email & calendar on the left rail under Company Settings.

  3. Click Edit next to Allow users to share their availability with candidates.

  4. Select On to enable the functionality or select Off to disable.

  5. Click Save.

Users should now be able to individually authorize their accounts to connect to Talent Hub.
