Activate Your Recruiter License

When you’re assigned a LinkedIn Recruiter license, you’ll receive an invitation email to activate it.

Here's a tip

You can't collaborate with members of your hiring team on LinkedIn Recruiter until you activate your license.

Click Connect within the invitation email and then sign in to LinkedIn. Enter the sign in information used to access your personal LinkedIn account.

Important:

  • The activation link is available for 7 days. If your activation link expires, ask your Recruiter admin to resend the activation email.
  • If you received the email to an address that isn’t associated to your personal LinkedIn.com account, you can still activate the license without creating a separate LinkedIn account. Use the login information from your personal LinkedIn.com account to activate the license.
  • If you want to manage notifications from Recruiter through your corporate email, first activate your license using the login information from your personal LinkedIn.com account. After activating your license, ask your Recruiter admin to update your email address to your corporate email address.
  • Your company won’t see any activity that’s not publicly visible on your LinkedIn profile when you sign in to Recruiter using your personal login information. This includes personal LinkedIn messages, notifications, feed, and more. See understanding your privacy settings and managing your account and privacy settings for more details.
  • Connecting your personal account to Recruiter associates you with your public profile when interacting with candidates and allows you to access your network during the sourcing or hiring process.
