Hiring Manager project-level permissions

You can add users with a Hiring Manager role to your projects on LinkedIn Recruiter.

When you add a Hiring Manager to a project in Project settings, you must assign the user one of three permission levels (Full Project Access, Pipeline Only Access, or View Only Access) within that project. The permission level dictates the actions the user can take in a project.

Important to know

A Hiring Manager doesn't have access to Recruiter search and can't send messages to sourced candidates. Hiring Managers on Recruiter Professional Services (RPS) contracts can only have view only access.

Full Project Access

Project permissions:

  • Save applicants and talent campaign leads from the Talent pool to the Pipeline
  • Change candidate stages in the Pipeline, and archive or reject them
  • Provide feedback on candidates saved to the Pipeline
  • Add notes and attachments, share profiles for review, and save profiles to PDF in the Pipeline
  • Access Project settings

Job permissions:

  • Find the job in Recruiter
  • View and share the job
  • View job performance data
  • View and manage applicants and apply starters

Pipeline Only Access

Project permissions:

  • Message applicants and talent campaign leads saved to the Pipeline
  • Change candidate stages, and archive or reject them
  • Provide feedback on candidates saved to the Pipeline
  • Add notes and attachments, share profiles for review, and save profiles to PDF in the Pipeline

Job permissions:

  • Find the job in Recruiter
  • View and share the job
  • View job performance data

View Only Access

Project permissions:

  • View candidates saved to the Pipeline
  • Add attachments and save profiles to PDF in the Pipeline

Job permissions:

  • View the job
  • View job performance data
