Apply Connect is an ATS integration from LinkedIn that improves the candidate experience by allowing job seekers to apply for your jobs without leaving LinkedIn and stay informed after applying (optional). It enhances your applicant management process by providing access to real-time LinkedIn data directly in your ATS to more efficiently evaluate applicants based on their fit for the job.
Apply Connect includes several features to help drive more hires to your jobs:
- Easy Apply
- Applicant notifications for Recruiter customers only (formerly Hearback Signals)
- LinkedIn in-ATS widgets with applicant highlights (for Recruiter customers only)
In order for Apply Connect to work, we will need to share the following candidate data when you use Easy Apply:
- Application viewed
- Resume downloaded
- Application rejected
Expand each section below to learn more about each feature:
Easy Apply
Easy Apply hosts the job application experience on LinkedIn and sends application data to your ATS. This helps improve the applicant experience by allowing them to apply for jobs without leaving LinkedIn. Most ATSs allow customers to turn on or off Easy Apply on individual jobs. Some ATSs have an all-or-nothing option: i.e., either Easy Apply is enabled on all of your jobs or none of them (no individual job level control).
Easy Apply is available to all companies using an ATS that has the Apply Connect integration available.
Applicant notifications
Applicant notifications is an optional setting to send automatic notifications to applicants the first time you take any of the following actions in the ATS: view an application, download a resume, and reject an application. Notifications are sent on behalf of your company, not from individual recruiters. You can disable applicant notifications from the integrations onboarding widget.
Important to know
LinkedIn in-ATS widget
The LinkedIn in-ATS widget provides a real-time summary of LinkedIn profile information for candidates who applied via Easy Apply. It also highlights how they match your job posting. Users can view the LinkedIn in-ATS widget from the LinkedIn icon next to the applicants profile in their ATS candidate list view and a more detailed profile breakdown in the candidate view.
