Before connecting your LinkedIn account to a third-party application, you'll see details of what LinkedIn data you’ll be sharing with the application (including, for example, profile information and other data about your use of the LinkedIn network). This data may be used to create your account on the application or to make your experience on the application more personalized. In addition, you may authorize the application to take actions on your behalf, such as sharing content and sending messages. LinkedIn’s agreements with the developers of these third-party applications (including the self-serve API Terms of Use) restrict how third-party applications use and disclose your LinkedIn data.
By connecting your LinkedIn account to a third party application, you acknowledge that application’s use of your LinkedIn data is subject to their privacy policy. If you have not already had a chance to review the application’s privacy policy, please visit the application’s website or otherwise contact the application owner to request a copy.
Note to Members in the EU/EEA/Switzerland: Due to regulatory requirements to enable data portability, if you are located in the EU/EEA or Switzerland (according to the location on your profile), certain third-party applications may seek your consent to allow them continuous, real-time access to your LinkedIn data, including your profile, posts, invitations, messages, social action data (e.g., likes, comments), and synced contacts, which you can control in settings (you can find the full list of data provided here). Upon your consent, such third-party applications will have access to your LinkedIn data for up to 1 year before you will need to re-consent. If you do not wish to grant such continuous, real-time access to your LinkedIn data, but would still like a copy of your LinkedIn data, you can download an archive of your LinkedIn data in your LinkedIn settings. LinkedIn requires the developers of these third-party applications to agree to the Additional Terms for the DMA Portability API Programs.
Subject to your Ads outside of LinkedIn and Ad-related actions settings and any applicable settings on the third-party application or site, LinkedIn may use this connection to deliver relevant ads to you on the third-party application or site that you connected to, and to measure the performance of those ads. LinkedIn does not share your personal data with the third-party app or site for this purpose. LinkedIn does not use this connection to learn your interests or otherwise build a profile of you.
If you wish to disconnect your LinkedIn account from the third party application, you can do so at any time via this setting or by following the steps below:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

Click Data privacy on the left rail.

Under the Other applications section, click Change next to Permitted Services.

Click Remove next to the service to disconnect it from your LinkedIn account.
If you remove the service’s access, they’ll no longer be able to access your LinkedIn data. To re-enable them in the future, go to the service and grant access again.
Note: After you disconnect your LinkedIn account from a third-party application, the application owner may retain your LinkedIn data received prior to the settings change and is solely responsible for handling it appropriately. They’re also responsible for responding to requests to delete LinkedIn data in their possession.
