In order to maintain the professionalism and integrity of the jobs posted on LinkedIn, new job posts may be selected to undergo our jobs review process to ensure they don’t violate LinkedIn Job Policies or our Professional Community Policies. If your job was sent to review, it does not necessarily mean your job violates policies, but has been flagged to be reviewed by a human reviewer.
We strive to review jobs as soon as possible and usually within one business day. Job posts are reviewed in the order they’re received, and the review process can’t be expedited at this time. Closing and reposting the job won’t expedite the review process. If your job post passes review and is approved, you’ll receive an email stating it’s active. If your job post doesn't meet our guidelines, you'll receive an email stating it was closed. To do so, please visit the link in the closed job email notice.

FAQ
Check out some of our frequently asked questions:
We understand that having your job post sent to review can be frustrating, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We recently made improvements to our automated system to better detect jobs that may be in violation of our Terms and Conditions, which has resulted in more jobs being flagged for manual review. However, we want to assure you that just because a job has been sent to review doesn't mean it will automatically be removed from the platform. Our manual review team will evaluate the job post to make the final determination.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a trusted and secure community for all of our members.
Our automated system detected some language in the job description that may be in violation of our policies, which is why it was flagged for review. Our manual review team will evaluate the job post to make the final determination. The email you received will let you know the reason for the job closure, along with the link to the policy it has violated.
If your job was closed after being reviewed, it was found to be in violation of our Jobs Policies. You can review our policies to better understand why your job may have been closed. We encourage you to make any necessary updates to ensure your future job posts comply with our policies and avoid potential violations. However, we understand that mistakes can happen, and if you believe that your job post was removed in error, you can appeal the decision by following the instructions in the email notice you received.
If your job post was closed for a policy violation, you can appeal the decision by reviewing the job post and making updates to ensure it complies with our Jobs Policies. Once you've made the necessary changes, you can appeal the violation by clicking on the link in the notice page or email you received.
If you're unsure why your job post was closed, we encourage you to review the job post and look for any potential policy violations. If you still can't find any issues, you can still submit an appeal as there may be cases where a job was incorrectly closed.
Please note that jobs remain eligible for appeals for up to six months. If you don't manually close the job or submit an appeal within that time frame, the job will be moved to a closed state and will no longer be eligible for appeal or reopening.
