We may prompt you to confirm your email address after you’ve added a new (unconfirmed) email address to your LinkedIn account. We may also ask you to confirm your email address if we receive a bounced message from your email provider stating:

A message wasn't delivered due to a temporary system outage.

The email address was invalid or couldn't be found.
To review your email addresses associated with your account:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

Click Sign in & security and under Account access section, click Email addresses.
To review your email addresses associated with your account:

Tap your
Profile photo, then Settings. -
Tap Sign in & Security, then Email addresses.
Note:

For security reasons, some email domains cannot be registered to your account. If you still can't confirm a bounced email address, try adding a different email address and remove the bounced email address.

If you only have one email address and it has bounced, you may not be able to log in to send a confirmation link to yourself. You will have to verify your identity to regain access to your account.
