You can stay connected and engaged with your network by posting and sharing updates about your professional expertise, topics you’re interested in, asking questions to your network, and much more.
Here are some best practices to control how members interact with your posts and shares:
-
Control who can see your post - Once you post an update, it’ll be shared publicly and on Twitter, with your 1st-degree connections only, with a LinkedIn Group or Event attendees, depending on the visibility you choose. If your profile isn’t public, your post will only be visible to members who are signed in to LinkedIn.
-
Disable comments or limit commenting to 1st-degree connections – You can choose if you want anyone, no one or only your 1st-degree connections to comment on your post. You can do so when you’re creating the post or after the post has been published.
Members are expected to refrain from dishonest or unprofessional behavior where posts include inappropriate, inaccurate, or objectionable content.
