Guest search history

Guest users are visitors to LinkedIn that are not signed in to an account. As a guest user on LinkedIn, you can search for Trending posts, Articles, People, Learning (courses), and Jobs.

You can access search by clicking on the Trending, People, Learning, or Jobs icon at the top of the page.

Important to know

If you turn this feature off, you will also clear your search history. If you’re a member, changes made while signed out don’t apply to your LinkedIn account settings.

To opt-out of LinkedIn saving your guest search history:

  1. Click on Guest Controls at the bottom of the LinkedIn page.

  2. Click on Guest Recent History from the Unsubscribe page.

  3. Switch the toggle to No on the Guest Recent History page.
