You can use filters to search for a specific conversation from your LinkedIn messaging inbox:
To filter your messages:

Click the Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.

Click the Filter icon on the left pane in the Search messages box.

Select an option from the dropdown that appears to filter by:
- All Messages
- Archived
- My Connections
- Starred
- Unread
- InMail
- Spam
To filter your messages:

Tap the Messaging icon on the upper right.

Tap the Filter icon in/next to the Search messages bar at the top of the page.

Select an option from the dropdown that appears to filter by:
- My connections
- Starred
- Unread
- InMail
- Archived
- Blocked/Spam
You can also search for messages by keyword or recipient in the Search messages bar.
Note: An InMail message is a message sent to someone who isn’t a connection. Filtering by All Messages will show you only the messages sent from your direct connections.
