If you’re a group owner, you can always edit the group information including the group name, description, rules, and other settings.
Important to know
Group managers or members don’t have the access to edit group information. They can reach out to the group owner (listed under Group Admins on the right pane of the group homepage) and request to make changes to the group information or settings.
To edit group information:

Navigate to your Groups homepage.

Select the applicable group from the list under Your groups.

Click the
Edit icon to the right of the group name. -
In the Edit group pop-up window that appears, make the required changes.

Click Save when you're done editing.
To update group information:

Tap your profile picture, and then tap Groups on the left pane.

In the Groups screen, select the applicable group under Your groups.

Tap Manage group in the upper-left corner, and then tap Edit group/Edit group details.

Make all the required changes in the Edit group/Edit group info screen.

Tap Save when you’re done editing.
LinkedIn doesn't allow excessive changes to a group's identity because it affects the credibility of your group and the LinkedIn Groups product. Group names can only be used by one group at a time, so you will need to choose a unique group name.
Note: Group URLs cannot be edited.
