LinkedIn won't send a notification to a group member if they're removed from a group.
Once removed, the group member won't be able to view the group's content. Removed group members won't be able to directly contact members from the group unless they are a connection, or they know the group member's email address. Group owners have the option to delete all posts and comments of the removed group member from the group.
