The People You May Know feature on your My Network page suggests LinkedIn members for you to connect with. These recommendations are based on commonalities between you and other LinkedIn members, as well as contacts you’ve imported from your email and mobile address books.
For example, you may have shared connections, have similar profile information and experiences, work at the same company or industry, or may have attended the same school.
Note: We don't scan the content of your messages to suggest results for this feature.
Once you send an invitation to someone from the People You May Know section, you can withdraw the invitation if the recipient hasn’t taken any action on the request.
You may see several names with corresponding email addresses within the People You May Know feature. These are contacts you’ve previously uploaded who haven't joined LinkedIn. While you can connect with them, these invitations can't be personalized.
You can also remove suggestions, which will ensure that the People You May Know feature will no longer recommend the most recent 500 removed suggestions.
