To make LinkedIn groups relevant and manageable, we have some set limits for membership, content, and other activities within a group.

Character limit for group posts | 3000 |
Number of mentions within one conversation | 20 |
Character limit for comments | 1250 |
Number of messages group admins can send to non-1st degree connections in their group in one day | 50 |
Important: The change in character limit for a post will be gradually rolled out and may not be available to you at this time. If you don’t see this yet, please check back in the coming weeks.

Currently, we can’t increase the above-mentioned limits.

We encourage group members to post content that is relevant and unique to the group. If members post the same content across multiple groups, the post could be automatically flagged as spam and won’t be displayed.
