While uploading a video from an iOS device, you’ll need to remain in the LinkedIn mobile app. You may experience the upload stall if the LinkedIn mobile app is in the background. However, once the video is uploaded and begins processing, you can use other applications. You should receive a notification when your video is ready to view.

While uploading a video from an Android device, you'll still be able to access and use other applications while your video is uploading in the background. You should receive a notification when your video is ready to view.

Videos stored on iCloud aren’t supported for upload on the LinkedIn mobile app. To upload the videos stored on your iCloud, you must move the video from your iCloud account to your local phone memory.
