If the group chat is not relevant to you, you can always leave the group.
To leave a group chat:

Click the chat inbox pop-up in your LinkedIn homepage.

Click the group chat you want to leave.

Click the More icon in the top right corner of the chat window.

Click Leave conversation.

Click Leave to confirm.

Tap the Messaging icon in your homepage.

Tap the group chat you want to leave.

Tap the More icon in the top right corner.

Tap Leave.

Tap Leave to confirm.

Tap the Messaging icon in your homepage.

Tap the group chat you want to leave.

Tap the More icon in the top right corner.

Tap Leave.
