From time to time, LinkedIn offers promotional subscriptions to allow members to try LinkedIn Premium for free or at a discount. Check out some frequently asked questions about LinkedIn Premium subscription promotional offers.
If you’re already a Premium subscriber, you’ll need to cancel your Premium subscription and then wait for the billing cycle to end (This may take up to 30 days). Once the cancellation process is complete, you can redeem the promotion to activate the new Premium subscription.
Important: If you decide to cancel your Premium subscription, you’ll lose all the benefits that your Premium subscription offered. You’ll no longer have access to Premium insights and features, such as the ability to send InMail Messages, Sales Navigator leads or Recruiter candidate information. You’ll also be subject to the prices listed at the time of your upgrade and we will not be able to honor any previous pricing.
You’ll need to wait for the promotion to end to view the price of the Premium subscription.
You may be sent a promotional offer to try a LinkedIn Premium subscription from a member you’re connected to, or from LinkedIn. Typically, you’ll be able to redeem the promotional offer by clicking the associated link to activate it, or by copying and pasting the link into your browser. You’ll need to follow the prompts to begin the free trial.
Note: You may be required to sign in to LinkedIn once you activate the offer.
