Premium free trial expiration notification

Last updated: 3 months ago

Important to know

You can request to cancel a LinkedIn Premium subscription, promotion, or trial at any time. After you have submitted this request, your plan will expire at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.

To avoid getting charged for another billing cycle, you need to cancel your plan at least one day before your next scheduled billing date.

We will send an email to the primary email address on your LinkedIn account seven days prior to the end of your free trial for any subscriptions purchased via LinkedIn desktop site. The subject line of this email will be one of the following, depending on which type of subscription you signed up for:

  • "Important information about your LinkedIn Premium account"
  • "Important notice about your LinkedIn Premium Free Trial"
  • "Important notice regarding your Recruiter Lite account"
  • "Important notice regarding your Sales Navigator account"

Important to know

If you’ve purchased Premium Subscription on an Android device via Google Play Store, you’ll get a similar notification seven days prior to the end of your free trial from Google. If you’ve bought your Premium Subscription via iTunes or the App Store, you’ll not receive a reminder from Apple.

If you believe you weren't notified before you were billed for the first time, please search for the subject lines listed above in your email Inbox. We only send this email seven days before your free trial ends, and you're charged for the first time. We don't send any emails when you're charged for subsequent months.

Note: If your email address is bounced or unconfirmed, you will not receive the reminder email.
