Licenses & certifications are a great way to showcase your knowledge and professional achievements on your LinkedIn profile.
If you've never added a certification, you'll first want to add a Licenses and certifications section.
To add Licenses and certifications section and license and certificates:

Click theMe icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage, then View Profile.

Click Add profile section in the introduction section.

Click Recommended dropdown, then Add licenses & certifications.

In the Add license or certification pop-up window that appears, enter your information into the fields provided.

A list displaying companies will appear as you type in the Issuing organization field. Be sure to select the correct authority from the menu so their logo appears next to the certification on your profile.

Click Save.
Repeat the above steps to add more Licenses & certifications to your profile.
To edit or delete a license or certification:

Click theMe icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage, then View profile.

Scroll down to the Licenses and certifications section.

From here you can:
- Edit: Click the Edit icon next to the license or certification you'd like to edit, make changes and Save.
- Delete: Click the Edit icon next to the license or certification you'd like to delete, then click Delete license or certification and confirm Delete.

TapAdd section.

Tap Recommended, then Add licenses and certifications.

Fill in the relevant details and tap Save.
Repeat the above steps to add more Licenses & certifications to your profile.
To edit or delete a license or certification:

Tap yourprofile picture, then View Profile.

Scroll down to the Licenses & certifications section.

Tap theEdit icon next to Licenses and Certifications.

From here you can:
- Add: Tap Add icon to the right of Licenses & certification section.
- Edit: Tap the Edit icon next to the license or certification you want to edit, make changes and Save.
- Delete: Tap the Edit icon next to the license or certification you want to remove, then tap Delete license or certification on the bottom of the screen and confirm Delete.
If you complete a course or certification with one of our partners, they'll send you an email that allows you to automatically add the accomplishment to your profile.

Click the link in the email to start the process. You may be prompted to sign in to LinkedIn.

Enter the required information. The certification and degree information will no longer autofill, but you can add the relevant information directly.

Click Save.
Your certification will then appear under the Licenses and Certifications section of your profile. If you have any questions about the certification email, including its content, please reach out to the partner organization. We are not accepting partner inquiries at this time.
Notes:

Certifications are ordered by date of issue and expiration date (wherever applicable), with the most recent listed at the beginning. Items without an issue date will be at the bottom. This cannot be re-ordered.
