You’ll be able to get the RTMP URL and Stream Key one hour before your scheduled start time,  but we recommend creating the RTMP URL and Stream Key about 15 minutes before you go live.

Preview shows the live feed that you’ve connected on the custom stream page. Your audience will only see that feed after you click Go live. You can only stay in the preview mode for up to 10 minutes. If you do not click Go live before that, it’ll expire and you’ll have to set up a new stream again.

You can go live using a custom stream (RTMP) from anywhere. Not all regions have a dedicated source in the Region dropdown list. You can select the region closest to you. When the region you want to select is overloaded, you'll see an error, then please select another region closest to you.

Notifications will be generated for a subset of your connections and to the attendees of your scheduled live event when you click Go live. No notifications are sent when a live stream is first scheduled.
