AI-Assisted Projects in LinkedIn Recruiter is a generative AI (GAI) feature that will save time by enabling you to quickly create a project and get recommendations just by stating what you need in your own words into a prompt box and chat experience. You’ll find this feature on your homepage and when you create a project.
With AI-Assisted Projects, you can:
- Use your own words to create your project. The conversational experience will set up the right criteria to match.
- Use AI-supported suggestions to refine your project and uncover even more qualified talent.
- Receive actionable insights to refine your project.
- Provide in-product feedback by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down icon if the results do not meet your expectations so the product can learn from this and improve over time.
- Ask a question related to your Recruiter contract or experience. For example, you can ask “What are automated pipeline stages?” to learn more about a feature.
To create a new AI-assisted project in Recruiter:

Click Projects at the top of your homepage and click Create new, or click the search bar and select Create a new AI-assisted project.

In the Project name field, add a project name.

In the AI-assisted project creation pane on the right side of the page, type a request or ask a question. You can enter details to help you create a project, such as “Help me create a project for hiring Software Engineers in the Bay Area” or “How do I change the visibility of my project?”
- The AI-assisted project creation tool will provide you with suggestions to modify your project.

Click Create project.
