As a Premium Business subscriber, you can boost your posts on the LinkedIn feed to increase your visibility, grow your followers, and get more website clicks. Here are some frequently asked questions about the feature.
Currently, only Premium Business subscribers can boost their posts. This feature will roll out to more Premium subscribers in the the coming months.
Each boosted post will have its own analytics view where you can see both the organic performance and the paid boosted performance of your posts throughout the five-day boost period. You can find the analytics view by clicking on the post itself, and selecting View analytics.
Your content can be boosted after it's been posted to the feed. You can find options to boost on the post itself from your Activity Tab. All boosted posts are subject to a 24-48 hour review process.
Both old and new posts can be boosted.
Boosting is only available for image, video, and article posts. No job posts, event, document, or polls can be boosted currently.
You can boost a post for five days. You can navigate to your post analytics directly from the post itself, both during your boost period and after.
No. If you would like to stop your boost before the five day period is over, you will need to delete the post completely.
We’ll use the content of your post to target the most relevant audiences and amplify your post beyond your network.
Thought Leadership Ads allow for a Company to boost the content to a broader audience, while Premium Boosting allows members to boost their own content.
You should avoid posting or boosting any content that does not adhere to the LinkedIn ads policy. If your post violates any of the LinkedIn guidelines, you will receive notice with instructions on how to make the necessary changes and get your ad approved.
