Add an address to in-person events

When creating an in-person LinkedIn event, it is mandatory to include an address.

To add an address to in-person events:

  1. Click into the Address field and start typing the street, city, or other parts of your address.

  2. A dropdown menu will display.

  3. Select the address of your in-person event from the dropdown menu.

If you have issues selecting the correct address, try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Do not copy and paste the address into the Address field, but start typing to display the dropdown menu.

  • The addresses in the dropdown menu are based on Bing Maps. Check which address is available on Bing Maps

  • If the exact address is not available, choose the closest address and use the optional Venue field to give your attendees more information.

Note: The event type and format cannot be changed after the event is created. If you initially created an online event, it cannot be changed to an in-person event later.
