AI-powered resume feedback on LinkedIn uses generative AI to help you tailor your resume for a specific role by enabling you to upload a resume you’d like to enhance and receive AI-powered insights and advice on how you can best stand out. You can then make edits interactively with AI before exporting the resume or attaching it to your job application.

To access AI-powered resume support on Desktop:

Click on the Jobs icon on the top of your LinkedIn homepage.

Click on a job posting you’re interested in.

Click on the Sparkle icon next to a prompt below a job posting to get personalized insights about the job.

Responses to your question will be generated by AI in a pop-up window.

From the Sparkle pop-up window, you can ask for help with your resume.
- You will be prompted to upload your resume.
- The AI feature will review your resume against the job description and suggest ways to enhance your resume to better fit the job.
- You can also ask AI to rewrite sections of your resume with suggested language.
- When your resume review is complete, you can export it or attach it to a job application that you can submit through LinkedIn.

Click on the Dropdown icon on the upper right of the window to close the AI-powered takeaways and advice.
For now, resume support is limited to desktop only. For members looking for resume support on a job via mobile app, LinkedIn will automatically add the job to the member’s Saved Jobs so they can return to it and continue their conversation on desktop.
No, a member must upload an existing resume to access our resume support feature.
