LinkedIn Learning is a registered sponsor of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), and aims to provide Continuing Professional Education (CPEs) to learners. These CPEs are internationally recognized agreements.
NASBA has international mutually recognized agreements. This essentially means that U.S. Certified Professional Accountants can earn CPE units if they wish to practice out of the country. The limits to practicing elsewhere aren’t related to your location or border, but where the CPA is licensed.
Unfortunately, LinkedIn Learning can’t let learners backdate courses. However, we’ve made several updates to courses that now qualify as NASBA CPE units, including updated glossaries, final exams, and additional chapter quiz questions. The date course completion date on the certificate of completion must be after December 3rd, 2018.
Unfortunately, LinkedIn Learning doesn’t support bulk CPE submissions. Our current CPE submission process is self-reported by each individual.
Learners can maintain their NASBA license by visiting the license maintenance page on the NASBA website.
Learners will have to complete all the videos in a course, and score 70% or higher on the final exam to earn CPEs. Additional details about the CPEs are available on the course page.
LinkedIn Learning currently doesn’t provide state-specific CPE learning paths. It is something we’re conducting market research on, and we’ll prioritize learning path publication based on learner needs.
LinkedIn Learning search filters currently don’t filter for courses that provide CPE credits. We’re working on adding CPE-related filters to our search filters. In the meantime, you can find a list of CPE courses on the LinkedIn Learning NASBA CPE page.
