Use the Follow skills feature in Learning

The Follow skills feature includes skills, interests, and keywords associated with your career path and your LinkedIn Learning coursework. You can use this feature to discover relevant courses that support your current skills and interests.

By adding your interests to your Skills followed dashboard, you can improve and customize the results of your recommended courses on your LinkedIn Learning homepage.

Access Follow skills


To access the skills you've selected:

  1. Sign into LinkedIn Learning and click My Learning at the top of the page.

  2. Click My Goals > Manage.

  3. In the Manage skills popup, under Skills you're following, you can view the skills you've selected.

Here's a tip

If you click a skill on your LinkedIn Learning homepage, you'll be provided with a course list related to that topic. You can filter your results using the filters at the top of the page.

Add or remove skills

To add skills to your list:
  1. Sign into LinkedIn Learning and click My Learning at the top of the page.

  2. Select My Goals > Manage.

  3. In the Manage skills popup, under Add new skills, enter the skill name in the Search field and select the skill from the dropdown. The skill name appears under Skill you're following.

To remove skills from your list:
  1. Once you've signed into Learning, navigate to My Goals > Skills followed > Manage.

  2. In the Mange skills popup, click the Close icon next to the skill you want to remove. This action deletes the skill from the Skills you're following and Skills followed sections.

Here's a tip

The Skills followed feature is not visible to other users and is used to improve what content we show you.

You also can set weekly goals for your Learning courses to ensure you’re developing your skills and interests regularly. (See Related tasks section below.)
