Learning Certificates of Completion Overview

Last updated: 4 months ago
Certificates of Completion are certificates that you may receive when you watch a course on LinkedIn Learning. They're a great way to document the progress you've made, and can be used with clients, employers, colleagues, and friends to share more about your professional education, skills, and interests.

Important to know

If your LinkedIn Learning subscription expires, you will still have access to your Learning history and Certificates of Completion. However, you will not be able to access any new courses or videos until you renew your subscription.

Notes:
  • There is no limit to the number of Certificates of Completion you can receive. However, you can only receive one Certificate of Completion per course or learning path, and the total number of certificates cannot exceed the total courses or learning paths that offer Certificates of Completion on LinkedIn Learning.
  • We don’t provide certificates for collections or individual videos. You also won’t receive a certificate of completion until you’ve finished watching all the video in a course or a learning path. (See Related task section below.)

  • Your LinkedIn Learning credentials still will be accessible if or when your paid membership expires. You can access your Learning History, Certificates of Completion, and any courses you have saved. However, you will not have access to Premium features such personalized course recommendations and downloadable exercise files.
