Configure Person Accounts with CRM Sync for Salesforce

While configuring CRM Sync with Salesforce and Sales Navigator, as an admin you can determine if your contract will use Business Accounts or Person Accounts.

Important to know

Person Accounts are only supported with Native Integration.

To configure Person Accounts for CRM Sync with Salesforce, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

  2. Click Admin and then Admin Settings.

  3. On the left rail, for the CRM option, choose Production.

  4. Choose Salesforce as the CRM that you would like to connect to and click Login.

    Important to know

    If you have already configured CRM Sync with Salesforce, then you must disconnect and re-connect your CRM.

  5. Provide the admin user credentials to sign in.

  6. When prompted to choose the type of account that you will be working with, select Person Account.

  7. Click Next: Configure settings.

  8. Switch the toggle to On for the features that you want to enable for Person accounts.

    We recommend toggling on all of the features to get the most value from the CRM Sync integration.

  9. Click Next: Advanced settings.

  10. Review instructions to install embedded profiles and then click Finish.
