Detailed description of each indicated media: "Synthetic Minimal medium" includes glucose and ammonia as sources of carbon and nitrogen, respectively, other essential elements and high oxygen availability; "Glucose-rich SC medium", SC standing for Synthetic Complete, includes glucose and ammonia as sources of carbon and nitrogen, respectively, all amino acids, other essential elements and low oxygen availability; RPMI stands for Roswell Park Memorial Institute 1640 medium, designed to mimic human serum composition. For each metabolite that could be added to the simulated growth medium, an exchange reaction code and name is provided, followed by the rate of metabolite uptake into the cell.
